Approval rating!?

It's stuck on 96 points and I just can't shift it! I've tried:

- Writing on bulletin board
- Changing town tune and town flag
- Donating to museum
- Selling trash
- Pulling weeds
- Watering every flower in town multiple times
- Sending letters

I'm trying to do jobs for residents but they literally aren't asking me to do anything! They're just talking about random rubbish until they get tired and tell me they're 'thinking about something' so I need to leave them alone.

Any advice?

I did it in about 2 hours on my old town so I know it's possible, but it's just stuck at 96 for hours now ><

Have you talked to all the villagers? If you dont talk to every single one of them you'll never get 100%

I managed to do it in one day. I sold a lot of stuff at Re-Tail. That boosts it.
