...Ow. Can you imagine? >.>'

No... really. I Googled it. They are in fact edible. I'm curious as to what porcupine flesh would taste like now... :I

Sooooo. I'm new to Belltree Forums, (Well, obviously, but of course I'm gonna be a dork about it and state the obvious...), and I'd like to introduce myself. My names [ohgodnoIwon'ttellyou], but you can call me Custard. Because I like Custard. Whatsittooyah? o- o

Anyhoozers, I'm a girl, I'm gay, I like cats, I love frozen yogurts, custards and ice cream. (There all the same, right?) Ahm. Letseehurr. I love Animal Crossing. I mean, duh. If I didn't I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be here. '<.<

My AC:WW name is Gwenn, and my AC:CF name is Derpy. Not sure why I felt the need to share that information. But have at it. :I

Sooooo... yeah. ~shakes your hand~ Sup bro. Glad to have met you. ._.

Welcome to The Bell Tree, hope you enjoy your stay :)

I went through the effort of finding you a Porcupine Stew recipe.

1 Porcupine Carcass [butchered]
1/2 Cup Vinegar
8 Cups Water
1 Beef Bouillon Cube
2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Large Carrot [chopped]
2 Small Onions [chopped]
1/2 Green Bell Pepper [chopped]
3 Tablespoon Flour
1/4 Cups Water
8oz Can of Corn [drained]
4 Cups Rice [cooked]

1) Soak the porcupine in a mixture of water (to cover) & vinegar in a large bowl for 1 hour, drain and pat dry. Then place it in a stock pot and add 4 cups of water, cook for 4-5 hours 'til the meat falls off the bones, using additional water as necessary... Cool and debone...

2) Combine 4 cups water, beef cube, salt and pepper to taste, carrots, onions, and green pepper in a large saucepan and cook for 15 min. Then add the meat and cook for 10 min.

3) Blend the flour and the remaining ? cups water and stir into the stew, add the corn and simmer for 5 min. stirring constantly...

4) Serve over hot cooked rice with hot rolls or french bread and grated cheese...

Well cactus is edible, so why not?

Welcome aboard.

Porcupine tastes a lot like squirrel, and other than that I'm not sure if I can come up with anymore similarities.
welcome, regardless.

While I know there's nothing wrong with it, I just couldn't bear imagining eating those cute little things! oDo
I'll eat a cow, but not them! .n.

Welcome to TBT! :D

In that recipe did they even say to remove the spines? Because that could be painful to eat/remove.

Oh, and welcome. I almost forgot..
