I am not in college quite yet, but in the next couple of weeks, I am going to take some placement tests. They will decide what classes to put me in. They will consist a little General Education stuff (Math, History, Science, and English), but I think it will be more "survey-focused" and they will find out my strengths/weaknesses, likes/dislikes and hobbies/desires.

I mostly want to be a florist or a baker/pastry chef, so I really want to take the 6-week floral design class that the college I will most likely attend offers. The said college offers a degree in Baking/Pastry Arts, so that's definitely something I'm looking into, as well.

However, I am still not 100% sure what college is right for me, the placement tests will also decide what college is right for me. If all goes well, I will start college in early 2017.

I'm going a little stir-crazy, but I try to reduce that by helping my mother run errands when she needs to.

aaah! good luck on the placement test, and here's hoping you get into a college you enjoy!

i'm currently enrolled in an art + design college, as senior graphic design major. classes here are wonderful! freshman year, you take some foundation courses like figure studies, and 2d and 3d courses where you're taught about the software you'll most likely be using. as the semesters progress, your classes are geared more and more towards your major of choice. being a graphic designer, i take stuff like typography, branding, basic graphic design classes, and maybe a little business here and there. you still have liberal arts classes, but those are limited in the amount you have to take. the school is designed so that you spend a great majority of your time in studio classes, aka classes specific for your major. it's required so that all students graduate with a BFA degree.

sorry if that was a mouthful.. i kinda enjoy talking about college. it makes me feel grown-up.

I'm not in college anymore, sadly. Was one of the best times though, looking back. I studied childcare, did 2 different NVQ's before going off to do a degree at university. College works a bit differently in the UK and is more of a stepping stone after school and before university. I did work in a school at the same time so it was quite stressful, particularly whole doing the degree. The second year of college I did the NVQ on a part time basis which took the pressure off somewhat. Wishing I could go back and do it all again, as I'd also retake some of my school leaver exams.
Best of luck to you and I hope your placement goes well! :)

I study Dutch Law, and I'm following a super interesting minor atm, about the rights of patients and doctors!

I'm going to university in a few days but classes don't start until just over a week's time. Feeling excited, I am doing Japanese but it's not just language based. We do some cultural modules, so I chose Politics and History. :) It'll be really interesting and I am looking forward to being able to study what I am really passionate about.

I hate the college I'm currently attending and my parents won't allow me to transfer anywhere. Pretty horrible situation to be in, please be 100% certain about where you'll be attending so you don't get stuck somewhere unenjoyable.

I'm still currently undecided on a major, but I've been looking into pre-law programs more and more and I think that's what I'll be going into once I can get to another school.

I'm starting my second year of university on the 1st of October. I'm studying Natural Sciences, with my modules this year being Cell Biology and The Biology of Survival.

I'm not in college. I'm in high school.

However, in college I want to study engineering or medicine. I like science and math. I might have to compete with a lot of people though because those are pretty competitive industries.

i'm currently a nursing major , but i also am interested in computers and psychology and i have no idea what im doing anymore oops

Currently only taking Psych 101 right now. My major is biology, yet I haven't taken a single science class. Unless you count "Computer sciences", which I did not consider a science class. I'm gonna take some pre-reqs at the community college closest to where I live, and then take Mortuary science in a nearby city. Mortuary science can't be found at a ton of schools, so I'm gonna have to do a bit of traveling. I'm glad it's in the state though.
