Are you done your critterpedia?

I finished the fish and sea creatures. Just need a Scorpion for the bugs and I'm done. They're such rare spawns though. Every time I've found one I've literally ran right into it and got stung. Really need to stop running on my island at night, lol.

Been going to Nook islands but no luck. Just keep getting the same common islands.

Any tips for this Scorpion stalker? I really want to finish that museum.

I’ve seen a few lately clearing the mystery islands to farm rare beetles. Pick the flowers, chop down the trees and remove the stumps. This stops other bugs from spawning and you’re more likely to see scorpions. Make sure to catch or scare away any bugs that aren’t scorpions to get more spawns. I’ve been bitten at least 4 or 5 times over 2 nights of doing this.

I finished my whole critterpedia in march(would've been dec. if we had deep sea creatures available when the game came out). i've been playing ac since the gc version and I use the same method every time a new version comes out. I make a list of all the fish/bugs/sea creatures available for the month i'm in. I list the time they are available and their location. also shadow size/bubble pattern/speed for fish and sea creatures. I cross them off as I catch them and I donate the first of everything to the museum. My goal is to get everything available by the end of the month but I usually manage it in a week. So by the end of one year I have finished all those sections of the museum.

All finished with my fish and sea creatures, but I still have 7 bugs to find to complete my Critterpedia.
Been playing for about a year now so I should be finished, but for some reason I've never been that interested in the Bugs.

It's completed on my main island.
I just reset my second town so I don't really plan to fuss over keeping up each month and just play it casually.

My recommendation is take advantage of nook miles islands for certain things you're having trouble finding...like beetles especially. Since you can still kinda edit it to work in your favor.
Same with fishing, since the area to cover is smaller and spawn quick...it made it go faster imo.

I did this and it works! I cleared off a bamboo mystery island. Got my Scorpion pretty quickly and caught extras to sell to Flick. Even got a model Scorpion to menace my villagers who walk by it. My museum and Critterpedia are totally finished- and on my birthday too. What a great gift! I only need one DIY (a Windflower wreath) and I should have all those too. Pretty pleased right now.

I only got stung once.

I completed the fish back in December but still need 5 bugs and 2 deep sea creatures. All the missing ones are either in season now or will be in July, so I should be getting them soon
