Could someone please judge my art?
I don't have a proper program and I'm still not very good at drawing on a computer but I'm trying to get better.
Here are some examples I just drew:
I also added a few of my drawings on paper. The computer drawn ones are supposed to be ACNL-like characters and the hand-drawn ones are a random drawing, Monkey. D. Luffy (One Piece,) and Aquarius (Fairy Tail.)
I'm not a very skilled artist, but I'll try to critique it!
Try to get better at lining- i see in your computer drawings that the lines are a little choppy near the bottom.
Try to stay in the lines- in the 2nd drawing in particular, it seems like there was some white next to the hair next to the lineart? And near the arms and legs, there's a bit of gray near the lineart.
Practice coloring the eyes- in most chibi drawings, the higher up the eye, the darker it is, and at the bottom it's a light ring, but in yours it looks like it's lighter at the top and darker at the bottom (if that makes any sense)
Try using Medibang!- you stated that you don't have a ptoper art program, but medibang is an updated version of firealpaca, it's 100 percent free and offers over 800 brushes in the cloud. it's kind of like using paint tool Sai
Color in your computer drawings all the way- it's kind of hard to explain it, but zooming in the skin looks a little blotchy? There's white spots a lot, maybe it's just because of the brush itself?
Find a light source- Use shadows and lights to make your drawing stand out a bit! Make the shadows and the lights in different layers above the layer that you want to add them in, and select clipping (if that program has it). Try using an airbrush tool for that?
Practice Practice Practice!- Practicing the style that you're interested in over and over will only make you better!
Work on hands!- I suck at hands as well, but try looking at tutorials or looking at references while drawing?
Overal rating?- idk really, I'm horrible at rating things
Hopefully this helped? And that is good artwork for just using a mouse! I recommend getting a tablet (if you parents allow you to get one anyways), they really help in the long run. I'm sorry that's it's wordy, I get wordy when I'm tired.
The only critique I can come up at the moment is on your very first paper drawing, the wrist is a little unproportionate to the hand and the rest of the arm. I feel like you should make it a bit bigger so it makes the hand look less awkward, but other than that great job!
You probably shouldn't trace art and ask people to rate it for you. It's good for practice though - you should keep doing that. Just try to not call it your own.
