Art dump-ish and feedback?

Hi there~

So I've never been one for drawing chibis well, on paper or on a drawing tablet... But recently I found my sisters drawing app on the iPad and I've been doing a doodle each night spending between 1-2 hours on them and I mean they're not great but they're probably the best I've done... And on an iPad too which I thought would be really hard aha

So that's most recent to last recent (the first one I did just now and spent around 2 hours on, the one of Light holding the puppy and L took around two hours and the first two were just me doodling on the app to start with (took 8 and 21 minutes respectively)

But one of the good things is that I can watch a speed art of it back once I'm done which is proving to be actually quite helpful ^_^

(Also excuse my gay swimmers from Free! That's why they're practically naked if you're wondering; from a swimming anime (a little over the top with the blushes but they're too cute))

So... Any tips for getting better?

I never really know what to draw, do I normally ask my friend to just say something and then I end up doing something completely different anyway... But it gets my inspiration going.

So to practice I mean I could do a few freebies of mayors I guess, do you think anyone would be interested? ;-; am I just getting ahead of myself here I don't know it's just that I find this app really fun and I've never been able to draw particularly well and always been desperate to so...

Aha yes it is! My friend asked me to draw him dead since she's just finished death note that day but I couldn't do it so I made a little story out of him getting a puppy called L with the speed art ahaha and thank youuu >_<

they're all super cute quq I do reccomend
trying to put more detail into shading and if
you're planning on having lineless art as your
style, then put more defining lines in to show
where body/hair ends, starts and parts quq
also!! a few of them I noticed you had very
chunky lines at the ends of the hair. this is
fine, buuuuut if you wanna make it look even
better, you should erase them until you come
up with a sharp point for the end of the hair!

I hope this helped somewhat, and it's probably
not my place to say anything because I'm not
that much of an artist, but I really like these
works!! keep it up; you have so much potential!

So I drew one with a slight line art round it but idk I kind of gave up half way through aha and wtf is going on with the hair idk but I mean it's not anime so I just kinda went for it I guess :/

I wouldn't say he's necessarily better than Rin and Haru but idk do you guys think I'm getting better at all? >_<

I tried a slight line art around the edges (also on the Rin and Haru but idk whether to post that is there much point?)
