I just picked up my wacom tablet after ~1 year!! I began to draw again, and would like some feedback on my sketch! (very quick 30 minute sketch). Feel free to leave any constructive feedback (harsh criticism is welcome). Also how much do you guys think my art is worth?

I'm not the best person to ask about drawing seeing as my own art isn't that great, but I just wanted to say that I really love your style! The girl in your example has a really cute face, and I like how you used hatching for shading. If I were to price the example, I would say maybe 150-200TBT? I'm never too sure about pricing though.

The lines are a bit shaky, and if you added more coloring to your shading, you could easily sell that for 200 +

ATM, its about 50

Cute, love your art style!

I'd suggest adding more shading and lighting. The eyes also look just a bit off.

Not too sure about pricing, I'd guess it's worth 50-80 TBT as is. Could probably get 100+ TBT with a bit more detail.

Keep up the good work!

@amye.miller

I would reccommend Paint Tool Sai, I can give you a link to download it if you want too :)

Unique style! the hair looks a bit off to me, but other than that, It's very nice!

oh, cute! you have a very unique art style, i love it!

as for recommendations, id recommend using /// instead of straight down lines for shading. i;e

it looks more like shading, while straight down lines just kinda look like lines there?

just wanted to say that i have seen people pull off vertical lines for shading very well so those are both viable options imo

I like the style but I feel there's something off about the face? I dunno what exactly but it might be the mouth or nose for me? Like could the mouth be a bit too high up or something? I dunno.

But either way this would probably sell alright on TBT.

I honestly love the style, the only thing I would say is maybe try and go towards a more original kind of style rather than anime, but that's just pure personal opinion. Keep up the good work!
