Art Interest Check? (For Collectibles/TBT)

I was very reluctant to post this, but I'm pretty certain I won't have enough tickets to buy all the collectibles I want, so I'm considering doing art for some fair collectibles (or possibly TBT to buy them) in exchange if that's something anyone can do/is interested in! :>
Below are some examples of my art. I'm very flexible with what I can draw, and can do a variety of styles including chibi! So if you're unsure if I can draw something please feel free to ask. ^^ You can also check out my instagram or twitter (links in signature) for more examples, as I post all of my art on there!

Even if you're not interested, if you could give a price range for my pieces that would be great? I haven't done comms on TBT since 2015 iirc so I really don't know what my art is worth on here anymore.

Oh wow, that's surprisingly low? I feel like people's art is worth way more than that. It's a shame to know that people seem to be undercharging. When I took comms back in the day my commissions ranged from 800-2k tbt, and my art wasn't nearly as good as it is now (And I drew on a 3DS, believe it or not lol). I guess I'll wait and see if anyone is willing. I was able to do some art for one of the fair collectibles back in 2017 so I didn't think this would be too hard, but hearing that admittedly makes me a bit anxious.

I'd price your art at over 1000 TBT easy, and yeah I agree people usually undercharge. Making an art for collectibles thread on the TBT marketplace might help.. I think trading for the collectible outright seems more fair, that way you are at least guaranteed what you want rather than overworking for a smaller amount of TBT (just in case people aren't willing to part with their new fair collectibles). Your art is really amazing though! Good luck to you

I definitely think your headshots are worth at least 1000tbt+!! Especially since you add lightning/backgrounds

Maybe there’s not as much tbt circulating around compared to before? I’m looking back at my old threads in 2015 and I only charged about 100tbt less than I do now. Though I didn’t improve nearly as much as you did

Wow, it was that high back then? I haven't seen anyone have prices that reach 1000tbt. I think the most I've seen was around 800tbt?

Ah if/when you do find out, I'd love to know if that would be a possibility! The cheapest one I need atm is the mom's plush at 25 tickets. After that it's 30 tickets for the pink/purple star fragments, and then 55 tickets for the Celeste plush and white star frag (which, I do not expect anyone to actually get considering how wild people can get for the pricey collectibles, but it's worth a shot haha).
Just let me know if you could keep me updated on the matter if possible, I appreciate the interest!

Yeah people do, it's a problem with RLC too, but with virtual currency it's far worse from what I've seen and it's really unfortunate, but sometimes that's the only way to get business. I was thinking that, though I wasn't sure if that was allowed since most of the threads seem to be for trading other collectibles or buying with TBT. I also agree on that part, that trading my art for the collectible is more fair, however I don't know how willing people would be so I figured I'd make tbt an option as well, even though it's an extra step for me. ^^'

And yeah honestly i think that might be the case? When I think about it, back then people had more tbt and were willing to spend more but that was 5 years ago. Back then I also only took virtual currency, whereas now I really only do commissions for RLC unless it's something like this (my colelctible addiction might just be the end of me lol).

In my experience, yes! If I recall there were a few other shops too, I definitely wasn't the only one.

Your art is incredibly stunning and I'd definitely say it's worth a minimum of 1.5k+ tbt!! Nothing lower than that! Especially since your art is so detailed and it looks super time consuming since you even include backgrounds! I feel you definitely should try to get collectibles trades instead of TBT and I definitely think it's possible!

Omg thank you so much Miharu, I really appreciate the feedback and support! My pieces take a lot of time because of how much thought and care I put into the rendering, so it's really nice to know that the amount of effort doesn't go unnoticed!
Thank you so much for being so sweet and optimistic I do have hope that more people will be interested. I often get discouraged when I don't give things enough time haha, so I'll definitely let this sit for longer and not let my anxiety get the best of me. ^^'
