How did you become so musically curious?

^Well the first music I really got into, aside from awesome video game themes was heavy metal....and from there other forms of metal music(power, thrash, death, doom, black, etc.). For quite sometime this was the only music I really cared for however, one of my friends, from when he was down in Alabama, showed me some 60's psych rock and stuff. At first I didn't think it wasn't anything too special but the more he explained how he came to appreciate music differently the more I listened and tried to gain an open mind. Then all of a sudden I knew where he was coming from and started enjoying the same stuff as him, like the 60's and 70's psych and prog rock stuff. From there I guess I just decided to challenge myself to listen to other things yet more different, and w/ that the rest is history. I've always been curious to other people's taste in music to see if they enjoyed any kind of metal as well but now more so than ever as I listen to so many more things now!

^Nah I don't really play it anymore. I feel I've done all I could in the game and feel satisfied! Last time I played must've been who KNOWS how long ago..a year? maybe more? Lol.

^I probably enjoy the Grateful Dead the most, but also The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and maybe several others...I just can't think of them atm. I want to say early Yes as well, but I think they may be more rooted in the early 70's. If I think of some more I'll be sure to edit this post(so keep a look out)!
also doors and some late beatles <3 and basically most u listed there, havent been much into byrds but maybe i should.
