I finally decided to bite many months after the trend lol. Obviously, abide by the forum rules and don't ask questions that are too personal. Other than that, ask away! Or not. That's fine too haha.

I HAVE TO KNOW.

Dream car? Do you have one?
Apologies for the 'late' reply! It's taken me some time to articulate my thoughts in an organized way. I hope you don't mind the typical Shellzilla fashion of having a huge wall of text lol.

Honestly, I never really thought of one. But if I had to choose, it would definitely be the Honda S2000 and there are a few reasons why, on top of being able to drive it virtually.

First, I absolutely love how it sounds. From the 1999 model year, it can redline up to 8900RPM! There have been a few times where I would just stop on a race track by myself and just rev it all the way when playing Gran Turismo. It may sound crazy to you, but it makes me smile whenever I hear it. Here's a video to get a better listen to what it sounds like when I play GT Sport. You don't have to watch the whole thing.

Second of all, I like how it handles when driving it. Granted, I play on a controller so I don't have an accurate feel, but the S2000 is very responsive on the track and is fun to drive at the limit. I'm more of a person that enjoys the experience rather than just focusing from traveling point A to point B.

Third, it has a manual transmission. Even though I actually don't know how to drive a car with a manual transmission, I'm trying to learn how to via Youtube videos. It gives you more control and feeling more connected to the vehicle you're driving. A lot of cars nowadays use automatic transmission or CVTs (Continuously Variable Transmission) which takes some of that control away. However, it's superior when it comes to fuel efficiency compared to a manual, so it's not all that bad.

It's pretty obvious I like this car so much, that I've made an Animal Crossing-themed livery on it which you may have already seen at one point. In terms of real life, I do see the S2000 sometimes while driving which is awesome! There's also one that I saw in an orange paint scheme, which is a rare colour for that car apparently.

Would I be able to actually own one? Considering the situation of my life right now, it's pretty unlikely sadly. Briefly scrolling through the used car websites shows that they cost somewhere around $30,000 to $50,000 Canadian depending on the condition. Though, I did see one listing going for $100,000 which is just crazy.

So yeah, I hope you didn't mind this long answer lol. If you have any more burning questions related to my passion for cars or even Gran Turismo, I'd be more than happy to answer them! :)

Edit: Added a couple of words.

Funny how you say that because I actually haven't watched baseball in years. I just simply lost interest in it. Anyway, to answer your question, that would be Formula 1. Driving an F1 car is very physically demanding requiring you to have both physical and mental strength! But if we're talking about sports that have nothing to do with driving, that would be basketball. I rarely watch it, but sometimes check the highlights and funny clips with my mother since she watches them.

Ooooooo, thanks for the insightful reply! I read it in full! 😋

What makes you like onions so much? What is your favourite kind of onion?
I like onions for their crunchy texture when you eat them raw. And this next point will sound crazy to you, but I also really liked the strong taste of it as long as it doesn't overwhelm me too much lol. Because of these two reasons, I eat them with eggs, tofu, beef, and other dishes!

For your second question, my favourite kind is the red onion with the green onion coming in second. Are you sick of the word onions yet? 😆

Anything you're looking forward to this Easter?
No, not really. I'm just going on with my days as usual. And I don't think I'll join the forum event of easter simply because I don't celebrate it. I obviously don't have anything against the staff setting it up, though!

Hey, nothing wrong with that. I like onions to. They can really make a dish have that extra kick. I never did it, but I really want to try growing onions. I did potatoes one year and it was a neat experience, but not really worth it.

Have you ever restored a car, like an old mustang, or ever thought of trying it? And if so, is there a type of old car that you would love to restore?

No, I haven't but I would definitely love to learn from those who know how to do it! It's very awesome to see someone driving their car that's decades old and still runs like it's brand new. A couple of months ago, I saw someone driving their 1958 Chevrolet Impala. That shows how much they care for their car. After all, it's a huge investment buying one and maintaining it to keep it functional for many years to come!

If I had the option to restore an old car, it would be a first generation Honda NSX which I sometimes drive in GT Sport. It may not be 'old' compared to the ones made in the 70s or earlier, but it is definitely up to 30 years old depending on the year model. Did you know that some people straight up abandon iconic cars like these? It's sad, and it doesn't help when a car is produced in limited numbers. When abandoned cars get found with a chance to be restored, it would bring me happiness if someone is able to fix them, especially if I'm the one doing it. It's a great feeling having their engines roar to life and roam around the roads again where they are meant to be driven.

Been curious now for a while, how come you added the _515 to your username? :0 Or are there any other Shellzilla person we don't know about?

The number 515 actually references the number of points I accumulated in total from the forum events of The Bell Tree World Championship 2021 (TBTWC) and Camp TBT 2021. I gained 170 and 345 points respectively!

You may now be wondering, why? This is because TBTWC was the first major forum event that I joined and had LOTS of fun participating despite my team coming in stone dead last. Camp TBT was the second major forum event that I participated in and also had lots of fun. I made so many memories from those two events and I wanted to give myself (and potentially others) a small reminder of what it was like taking part. 💙

I have to ask a (hopefully) easy question 😊

What inspired your love of cars and racing? 💜
Hi, Roxxy! Apologies in advance for replying late. I wanted to give you the best answer I could after reading that question, so you might want to buckle up. 😅

With that being said, my dad introduced me to the Gran Turismo series ever since I was very young. Needless to say, it made a huge impact on my enthusiasm for cars (and the racing aspect too). It exposed me to different kinds ranging from regular road cars to full-on race cars capable of going fast in many aspects. If you're wondering which game I was introduced to, it was the first one, if not, the second one for sure. But it didn't take until the third game when things started to get going for me to want to play more. I remember the younger me always chose the Toyota Altezza RS200 in arcade mode because it's the first car that you can choose to drive. From that point on, the rest is pretty much history playing the newer games as years pass by. I even took a photo of the games I have even though I don't have the first two (I have no idea what happened to them).

For some reason during the height of the pandemic in 2020 when I decided to dust off my PS2 and play Gran Turismo 4, my passion for cars skyrocketed like never before. There was just something that made me appreciate them more to the point that I actively seek out trying to spot cars that have appeared in the series, making me happy every time when I do. Of course, you already know that I'm learning how to fix cars in college, but I'll tell you that my dad played a part in it too suggesting that I should pursue studies in that career path. If you really think about it, he's the one who's responsible for all this in the first place. Had he not decided to introduce me to the Gran Turismo series at all, I don't think I'd be even remotely interested in cars.

I hope my answer isn't too lengthy for you, but I enjoyed answering your question! Thanks for asking, Roxxy, and hopefully you understand a little more about my passions. 💜💙💜
