Auction house questions

Just a quick question. I have wii connect24 on and everything, but when i go to auction house. I only see the one thing i display. Does anyone else see items from your friends to bid on.

Mabye the people in my friend codes not displaying stuff. Just want to check into this more.

Mine has been empty every time so far. I always miss the times to display something myself. I actually because of all the time limits and stuff the auction house is kind of stupid. Why does it take so long in between display times and bidding times?

Yeah i freaking hate that.. screw auction house just go to peoples towns to trade etc.. lol

I am totally confused about the purpose of the Auction House, to be honest. Every time I visit, there's nothing there, and there's like, five days between display times. Do you actually have to show up at the Auction House at 6 am on whatever date to actually SEE anything on display? I don't get it - people just trade among their friends anyway. >.<
