Back after a year and a half break. Tips on making TBT?

I just got back after being gone for a year and a half and I was more active years before then too. Gotta get used to the site again, so any tips on making TBT? I’ve already got a thread up to sell some of my ACNH items. But any other ideas?

Participate on the fair, get collectibles and sell them afterwards if you're not interested

You can still enter some contests for the fair and any collectable you manage to get from the store can be sold back on the marketplace for a good amount of TBT. For now just try getting back into posting, that's how most people slow build.

As others have said, there’s a huge opportunity to make some TBT by participating in the TBT Fair that is currently going on. If you‘re good at art, you could open a shop in the museum and sell art to people for TBT as well. Or if you have games like Pokémon or Flight Rising, people will pay TBT for stuff from there. Lastly, posting a lot in boards that give out TBT like the New Horizons board helps as well.

There’s a board dedicated to the Fair just below here titled “The Bell Tree Fair 2020”. You’ll want to take a look at the stickied threads in each of the sub-forums there to get a general idea of what you can do. There’s two different types of things you can participate in in the Fair: events and contests. Events usually have rounds and last for a couple days before a new round begins. Contests last until the end of the Fair and are in the “Carousel of Contests” sub-forum. When entering any of the events and contests make sure to read the first post that has the rules and guidelines for participating. From there you’ll earn tickets for participating in the Fair, which can be redeemed in the shop for collectibles and real life prizes. Hope this helps!
