Hello!
I was wondering if I plant a fruit next to a bamboo sprout will it stop it from growing like it does with the other trees?
Thanks for the help guys! :)

Hey guys, I wanna let y’all’s know this; I’ve tried using this method to keep juvenile trees (it looks more natural), and what ends up happening is that the older tree will keep on growing and the sapling will stay a sapling. If I’m doing something wrong, please let me know how to do it right since I really want juvenile trees!

Once the juvenile tree is where I want it, I plant a fruit tree behind it and it stays stunted until I move the fruit tree. Hopefully this will help some. :)

@Your Local Wild Child
Are you planting the sapling behind the juvenile tree?

I have a forever trapped juvenile tree on my island. It's been stunted for life
I’ve put them next to them, but not directly behind them. I TT, so let me test some things out.

That happened to me earlier too when I was trying to freeze a tree's growth, and I couldn't tell if it was because I used a sapling and not a fruit, or because I planted it next to the tree and not in front / behind it. Good to know if I ever need to add more trees to my forced perspective area!
