Banned discussion topics?

Is speaking of hacking allowed on the site?? Like, I know that we aren't allowed to sell hacked items or give away hacked bells, etc, etc, but I just got a new cartridge just as a dream town, just for being pretty, and was wondering how bad hacking actually is. Besides the risk of corrupting your 3ds or your game cartridge, is there anything really wrong with it? for example, i was considering hacking my new cartridge just so that i could move rocks, set down paths easier, and move villagers' houses, but i didn't know if i could even bring up this topic on the forums. please let me know!!

I think your allowed to, just not explain method. And dw, nothings wrong with it unless you choose to sell hacked items or troll people with hacks

oh okay, good!! since you can't explain method, where could i ask people questions about it?? my program keeps crashing and i have questions, but the only forum that i know of that is made for this kind of stuff has like 1 user online... i just wanted to see if anybody knew anything about it haha
