Welcome to Bark Academy of Gifted Students.​

Dear Prospective Student,
This is your formal letter of invitation to Bark Academy. Due to your recent performance and success in either Pokemon League competitions, Pokemon Contests and/or other high accomplishments, we are formally inviting you to attend our academy as soon as possible. Here we foster your natural talents and skills to the best of it's ability for future success in the changing world. However, at this institute, each student is required to start over from scratch. New Pokemon, new team. Part of our curriculum is seeing how you grow as a trainer/coordinator/breeder/etc from the very beginning. We all love a challenge right? An immediate response to this letter is encouraged. If you have any questions, please contact us as soon as possible.

This roleplay is open to anyone who is willing to have a little fun in the Pokemon world. I do have a couple requests if you are to take part in this roleplay:
1. Please write in the third person. It's much easier to remember who you are and reading it makes much more sense.
2. If you are replying to someone, please quote them. Organization is key.
3. Please no godmodding. Just control your character. And, be reasonable, don't do anything crazy.
4. You may have up to two characters, but make sure you clearly identify which character you are roleplaying as at the moment.
5. Please use a different color with roleplaying (got that idea from a different RP: The Elements, great idea!)
6. Also, don't reference any characters from the actual Pokemon universe (ie. Ash, Misty, Brock, etc.) It's easier that way.
7. You can get as much as out of this roleplay as you like. Make it yours!
8. If you have any more questions PM me, and take a look at my example if you are having trouble figuring out what to write! I'm here for ya!

• Biography (Doesn't have to be long, be reasonable): Being the oldest of nine kids was not easy for Axel. In fact, Axel has never really had a rest day in years. Starting at a young age, Axel began his trainer journey with his first Pokemon, Starly, who he named Raptor. Ever since their first battle, they knew they would go far. In fact, so far, together they went all the way to the Pokemon League a couple times, even winning once with his All-star team. But, after getting the letter from Bark Academy, Axel is ready for a new challenge with his new Pokemon. Only looking toward the future for more battles and friendships.
• Personality: Quite snarky person, but also very observant and aware of his surroundings. Not afraid to tell it like it is and is very honest with people.

Biography (Doesn't have to be long, be reasonable): Aradi was never loved. She was cast out in the street when she was 4, and was taken in by an orphanage, only to be sent off to nasty foster parents when she was 8. She is very shy, almost to the point of panic, and trust nobody but her Pokemon.
Personality: Very shy, smart, and lonely.
Appearance (if you want to use a picture that's fine): My avatar <<; She is blonde with long hair and brown eyes.
Anything else?:Never wants to fall in love. She's afraid of betrayal.

Biography: A boy who was raised with his Pokemon. He likes playing Video Games, reading Comics, battling Pokemon and best of all, the thrill of adventure.
Personality: Quick, caring, ideal.

Axel was ready. He had all his things unpacked, and his family just left. He quickly left his dorm and scurried down the hall, then went out the nearest door. Today was his first day at Bark Academy and he was ready to meet his new Pokemon. Something about this whole experience was surreal, almost like a dream. He was glad that he was here and hoped that he had made the best decision. Axel went to an open field where there looked to be no people who would watch. He slung his bag onto the ground, picked up the shiny new Pokeballs and flew them up in the air to release his new companions. Knowing their types, he chose them systemically, hoping they would aide him at Bark Academy. Hopefully, no one was around to see him interact with them for the first time.

Aradi was free. From her foster family at least, but now she would have to deal with more people then she ever imagined could be all in one place. She had unpacked her things after everyone else, hiding in the bathroom until they had all left. Her new Pokemon had been placed on her assigned bed, and she tucked the shining pokeballs in her jacket pocket. She decided to walk outside and study some of the books she had been assigned, and meet her pokemon. When she got there, she took out the pokeballs and released the pokemon. "Fennekin! Umbreon! Go!"

Yui is an excelent singer, and she has always tried her best not to talk outside of battles and singing, so as to not damage her voice.

There was his new team staring straight back at him. Axel chuckled as they simply looked at him, almost making sure that he was worthy of their time. They knew each other, but not completely familiar. They were now a team and would have to work together till the end to make sure that they would be the very best, like no one ever was. Axel sat down in front of them and simply smiled. "Well, time for some introductions, huh? I'm Axel. It's a pleasure to meet you." The Froakie ****ed his head at him, wondering what he was trying to do while the Eevee went to sit in his lap. Eevees were always ones to trust. But, the Turtwig looked disinterested, not fully excited to be outside of its ball. Axel knew that they would be a tough group to work with. But, he always liked a challenge. "How about we think of a name for you guys. Using your species name was never something I liked." Before Axel could even think another thought, another student entered the field. Maybe to do some study. He smirked, "Nice day isn't it." He yelled across the field, hoping to gain the attention of the girl.

I finally arrived at Bark academy, finally starting a fresh new journey as a pokemon coordinator. My father tried to get me to come in a limousine, but I firmly insisted otherwise. I wanted to fit in here, unlike everywhere else I went. I had always been grateful to be born into quite a wealthy family, but sometimes I just wished to be normal.
I went to the dorm rooms first, and found room number 19, which was mine. I had heard that these rooms were designed for two, but I had no clue if there would be anyone else in this room with me. I hoped not, so that I would be able to practice singing. On the bed were my three pokeballs, in which the three pokemon I had chosen resided. I had chosen the three specifically for their qualities in a contest, which was my main priority as a coordinator. Deciding it was probably better to meet them for the first time outside, I put the pokeballs in my bag and left, making my way to the training field, where I discovered there was already two trainers there with their pokemon.

Walt has been waiting for this moment ever since he went to Pokemon School for the first time. His previous Pokemon were nice, but they were back at home with the next door neighbor. He let the Pokemon that he chose sit on the bed. "You guys be nice to each other, I chose you three for a reason." Walt sits down next to his Pokemon and watches a show called The Pokeranger until the bell rings.

Umbreon was amazing. She was so quick, and already knew some great moves. Fennekin was great as well, and Aradi immediately started training them. She looked up from her book, and saw a girl and a boy in the meadow with her.
Oh gods.
Aradi panicked, and picked up both of her pokemon, and he book, and went into some taller grass so that she could not be seen.
This would be a horrible mistake, however, as a wild Carnivine was lurking not even six feet from her! It burst from the tall grass, and she screamed. She was not ready!

No response. Axel chuckled and went back to his Pokemon. Eevee seemed to be sleepy in his lap. "Well, how about a strong name for you huh?" The other two watched from afar, both resting by a tree. The Eevee looked up at him. "First, we have to figure out what you want to evolve into." The Pokemon perked up at the word 'evolve'. "Eeeveee!" He exclaimed, then got up and nudged his blue backpack. Axel curiously looked at his new companion, "You want to be a Vaporeon." The eevee growled. "...or a Glaceon?" The Eevee smiled and did a little dance. "Well a Glaceon it is! How about the name.... Anemoi? In Greek Mythology, he is the bringer of winter. What do you think?" The Eevee let out a happy cry and jumped back into Axel's lap. The other two looked quite interested in Axel and crept closer. "Oh you want names too huh?"
Then, a cry was heard from the girl. Axel immediately stood up and gathered his things. "Let's go guys!" Axel ran over to see what was the matter. "Everything alright?" And to think the girl didn't acknowledge his presence.

As she walked into the field, Yui heard a scream from one of the trainers. She ran over to see what was the materter, but was beaten there by the other trainer.

Walt hears the scream. "What was that? Oh, it was probably nothing. If I hear it again, THEN it's serious, but it's not serious now." Walt and his Pokemon (Except for Larvitar, who's busy watching The Pokeranger) read comics.

Aradi was paralyzed with fear. She had never seen such a big Pokemon. The Carnivine lunged, and she barely ran out of the way in time. Unbreon yowled, and tackled the beast, but it did almost nothing. She barely noticed the two other trainers in the grass with her.

Axel looked at the other trainer. What in the world was he doing? Axel shrugged and turned his gaze back on the Carnivine. "Alright guys. We are definitely not strong enough to take him one by one, but together we might be able to scare him away." The Pokemon seemed to respond well to him, determined to help the girl out. "Anemoi, how about you use Tackle. Turtwig, Razor Leaf. And, Froakie, Bubble. If you can, of course." All three of them nodded. And they did so. But, that didn't make the Pokemon go away. He would have to do something else or get some assistance.
