Bell Problems

So I'm not sure if there is some sort of waiting period or something, but I don't seem to be able to send Bells out. I have the amount I'm sending, but it keeps bouncing back telling me I don't have the Bells.
Is this a common thing or is there some sort of waiting period?

Edit: I literally just signed up to join a few hours ago..does that factor in?

You might have point something of TBT?
Maybe withdraw a few more bells and try again.

I think what fixed it was earning extra Bells? I managed to finally get it to work. Thank you for your help!

The amount of bells it says you have is rounded up. Say you were trying to send 10 bells. It will say 10 bells in your profile, but you may in fact only have 9.8 bells, so it won't let you send them. So it's always better to have at least one more bell than the amount you want to send, that way you don't have to worry about it.
