Could someone explain this sites currency to me. I can't find an explanation about it and I'm curious. Like I see people selling items, Pokemon, etc and accepting bells as payment. How does all this work?

Look in the sidebar and you'll see you currently have 19+ Bells. These are earned by posting in most of the site's boards and can be traded with others. Simply click the number of Bells someone else has and fill in the fields to send them some. Assuming you've already arranged this, they may give back something in return such as collectibles (see the shop), ACNL items, artwork, etc. Bells are commonly referred to as TBT or BTB ("Selling Butch for 20TBT").
