Bertha WON'T move.

So I got Bertha about a week ago when someone visited my town and hadn't cleared their villager pool.


I have been time traveling frantically since the sad day I got her. Most of my villagers have wanted to leave, Stitches asked three times.

But Bertha hasn't. I talk to her every day, I'm nice to her, but she won't get her giant hippo butt out of here. I'm scared to time travel a lot, because literally everyone else in my town are dreamies. Will she ever move? D:

It's just weird, Stitches is constantly asking to move where as I got him a day before Bertha and my friendship level with him isn't particularly high. Probably in the same range as Bertha.

Since she just moved in, it will probably take a while for her to move out, granted. Talk to her sometimes, but don't reply to mail if she sends you any, and if she asks for favours don't do them. Don't worry she'll be gone eventually.. I had the same problem with Violet the Gorilla. Urgh.

But real life hippos, I wouldn't want to meet them. They are super aggressive, right up there with nesting geese *runs*

That's weird! Maybe it's true then, that villagers who want to leave are picked at random? Don't worry- at least when Bertha finally wants to leave you'll be so excited you'll throw a party. I swear, that's what I felt like doing when Violet told me she wanted to leave lol.

I find it odd how some villagers will constantly beg to move while others never even consider it, seemingly at random. I got my game on the day of the American release. The first villager I spoke to was Queenie, and she has never asked once to move now. I'm actually perfectly okay with that because she's really grown on me, I just find it odd that she's never asked even once.
