Hello I was just wondering what?s the best Nintendo Switch Joy-con steering wheel to use

And what case do you thinks the best for Nintendo Switch?

I do not have Joy-Con steering wheels, but judging from Amazon, they all seem to get the same reviews, so I guess it all comes down to how much you want to spend on it. Just keep in mind that they are obviously smaller than that of the Wii.

As for a case (I'm guessing you mean a carrying case), I got the Orzly Hard Carrying Case, and it's perfect. You can go all out with whatever brand you want, but I would most definitely recommend hard cases over soft cases, just to make sure that your Switch stays out of harm's way.

Now, I know you didn't ask this, but if you do not have one of these yet, I DESPERATELY recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector for your Nintendo Switch. I know there have been some folks who said the dock could scratch the screen, and you definitely want to protect that screen, even from everyday use. Orzly is a very popular and recommended choice.

Overall, have fun with browsing for accessories. The Switch is a hybrid console, so there is a ton of stuff to choose from.Good luck finding what you need and have fun!

Hey, I'm considering getting a Switch soon as well. Would you recommend getting some sort of storage unit ASAP, or is it not that important?

Depends how you'll use the switch tbh. If you are planning to travel around with it often then you should consider a carry case. Consider if you'll need to bring a dock or extra controllers if you plan to hook it up at a friend's place, or maybe a small pouch that's easy to play on the go.

Maybe even a dock if you plan on playing table top mode. The switch's charging port is in an unconvenient place so buy a licensed one that charges. I've heard third party ones might brick.

If playing portable, maybe a powerbank? There are licensed ones from anker which is recommended but normal powerbanks should work fine. Other powerbanks are fine too provided you have the right charging usb cable. USB-A - C need a 56k resistor on the C end, because the switch may pull to much power to recharge and possibly brick.

And definitely buy a screen protector. It's 3% of the cost of the console for that extra protection in case you drop it.

I think the pro controller, either wired or wireless is necessary. It's way more comfortable to play with for extended periods of time, the joy cons are a bit too small for my liking.

Definitely get a screen protector, tempered glass or plastic, just something to stop the screen getting scratched when docking or undocking the console. You can buy Nintendo ones for fairly cheap, or a few of the case sets come with them as well.

The case depends where you're going to take it. You can get rather large bags that you can put the console and the dock in if you're going to a friends place. Or there's a huge range of sleeves to protect it while it's in your bag. There's also some cases that allow you to carry extra games and small accessories.

If you're playing handheld a lot, I'd consider buying an extra charger to charge it while playing. That way you can have one permanently hooked up to the dock for the TV and one that you can use on the go. Not necessary, but something to consider.

There's so many accessories you can get, the possibilities are endless really!

Yes, those are the exact two things I got before even getting my Switch. The screen protector is a must-have, especially. Just be sure to look it up online on how to apply, since it can be tricky, but don't be upset if dust gets underneath; it's almost inevitable.

What would you mean by a storage unit? :)

I would only recommend a pro controller. I love using the joycon controller but needing to charge it is annoying at times, so being able to charge your joy cons and plug in a wired pro controller helps ^-^

Here is my list for what I feel are things that will come in very handy with a switch.

1. A case. Big or small, doesn't matter. Just get a case. Hopefully something that can carry not only your switch but also a few games and wires.

2. Screen Protector. The screen is very fragile and will get scratched no matter how careful you are. Also try to get a glass one. They will be worth it in the long run.

3. A pro controller. This comes in very handy when playing with friends. But for me, having big male hands, the joycons are sometimes way too small.

4. Plastic Switch Casing. This thing is amazing. It is a clear hard plastic case that covers the switch. It's a good deal and even has rubber cases for the joycons. Best of all, it still fits on the dock.

5. Stand. This is great cause it allows you to charge your system while still using it. As we know the charging hub is located underneath the switch and charging while playing can be a hassle. This handles that easily.

6. Lastly, a memory card. You will need it if you plan on getting a lot of games.

Hope this helps!

I would recommend getting a 128 GB SD card for larger storage. I read an article online claiming that a company is making 256 GB SD cards for the Switch but I've never found out if 128 or 256 is the maximum. But depending on whether you get digital games and even downloadable content, I think the expanded storage is a must.

Plus all update patches, save data and digital content will go directly to the SD card if it's detected as installed. I got my Switch at launch with a very simple carrying case (only room for the Switch with Joy-Cons attached to it and an insert for five games plus a mesh pouch on the insert), a screen protector and the SD card.

Get an SSD, but later on. If you've only got a couple of games it's not worth it unless you'll want to be downloading games. I only got mine after a few months of having my switch, where it was more convenient for me to download games.

There's several games I want to download: Okami HD, Untitled Goose Game, Warframe, Hover: Revolt Of The Gamers. I may even redownload Bayonetta and Stardew Valley. I'm running out of space at a fast pace on my SD card with all these 5, 6, 7, 8+ GB games releasing as digital only.

Then you'll definitely need an SD card ^-^

Also I made a typo and said SSD cause someone at work was talking about them when I wrote that ^-^

If you could get a 2TB SSD for switch that would be nice xD

I have an SD card xD It's a 128 GB SD Card because back in 2017 I was told that the Switch could only take SD cards as high as 128. But recently I read an article that stated a company called HyperX or something like that was manufacturing three sizes of card for the Switch, one of them being 256.

And to this day, even though I've asked, I've never been told if the Switch can use a 256 GB SD card or not.
