I am getting very serious about flower breeding. so I have a couple of questions:

1.) Lets say I have two same flowers that were breed (E.g. 2 orange tulips) will this result if I bred them in another orange tulip? Does this work with another two of the same flowers?

2.) What is the best hybrid combo (Even if it involves other hybrids) to create the following flowers:
  • Purple pansies
  • Purple Tulips
  • Purple Roses
  • Blue violets
  • Black cosmos

Thanks :)

I don't think there ARE purple cosmos. But the rest have handy charts.

Ah, yes! Flower breeding can be very rewarding and at the same time frustrating. It’s one of my favorite things in the game though. Good luck with it!

Black cosmos can be bred by watering orange cosmos together. It is a little slow going, because it gives you a lot of additional orange hybrids. But I found that when I put black and orange together, it seemed to increase the odds.

Purple roses can be obtained from white roses breeding together. I’m pretty sure if you’ve then have two purple roses next to each other, they should make more purple roses.

Purple tulips come from breeding orange tulips together. You also have an increased chance of getting orange tulips if you breed black and yellow together. If you breed orange and purple together, it increases the odds of getting a purple tulip. But once you have two purple tulips, They have a 100% chance of producing further purple flowers.

Blue violets can be obtained by breeding purple and white violets together.

Purple pansies, though I can’t confirm this as of yet, are obtained from breeding orange pansies together. I haven’t attempted this yet, so that’s just what I’ve heard.

I hope that helps! :)

Purple pansies are slightly more complicated. You have to breed either blue and red pansies or blue and orange pansies to get 'special' red pansies.

Remember your flower layout and remove any special reds to a separate area so you don't get them confused with regular red pansies.

Special red pansies + special red pansies = purple pansies.

Once you have 2 purple pansies, they will breed together to make more.

•Purple pansies

Get two special red pansies from a blue and orange pansy, and breed them to get purple.

•Purple Tulips

Breed two orange tulips that have both come from a red and a yellow tulip.

Orange spawned from orange won't work.

•Purple Roses

Breed two white roses.

•Blue violets

Breed two purple and white violets, though I am sure I got a blue from breeding a purple and yellow.

Try all combo's.

•Black cosmos

Breed two orange cosmos.
Get orange cosmos from breeding yellow and red cosmos.
