Birthday TBT??

Do we still get TBT's for things like Birthdays/Events?

I got the PM last week for 126tbt but didn't actually receive any.
I'm not bothered; nor am I trying to get them. I'm just curious

Also, what other ways are there to get TBT's anyway?
I need to do some serious saving XD I really wanna finish the letters lol.
