Have you recently updated to IOS 8? There's been lots of problems due to the update. There was a thread posted by another user who's collectables changed http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?227303-BRING-BACK-MY-FEATHERS-PLS! And various problems have been reported in the news due to the update.

Above poster got to it before I could. iOS8 has been causing some pretty bad issues with other users. It's probably a coding incompatibility. Sorry, but until they fix it you may be stuck with the issue.
