Why is there such a character limit on blog entries like that? Back when I was blogging on LBPC, there wasn't a 10,000 character limit on that site. I wanted to talk about a lot of things on my most recent blog entry, but this character limit won't let me post anymore than 7 areas of what I wanted to talk about today. I'm not spamming in my blogs. It's also why I have multiple entries on one thing.

Well for one thing, I don't see many people that use the blog thing anyway. So that's probably part of it. :)

I know that most of you don't care about blogging, but I am a big blogger. Some people have different perspectives of features.

I don't use Tumblr. Why convince me to use tumblr when I vowed that I'll never join Tumblr. It's overrated.

have you even tried it? sure, your opinion is what holds you back but you can't have such a strong opinion about something without trying it at least once.

oh snap we got a BIG SHOT OVER HERE

i use FC2 for my gamdev blog. idk about character limit tho. there's lots of themes to choose from and categories and such and you get a cool url like computertrash.blog.fc2.com. i guess the admins didnt think that people ACTUALLY USE the blog tree.

Tumblr is only over-rated since there's so many cool blogs and stuff there. :3 But your opinion is what counts for you!

Yep! My opinion is the only thing that matters to me. Even the strongest of the advertisements will never convince me to use tumblr.

I guess I have to deal with the character limit. Besides, most of my blog entries don't even require writing a lot. It was just the Evolution of Animal Crossing pages that do.

You could try Blogger, but it's essentially a more watered down version of Tumblr so I doubt you'd like that.

Where did the "strongest of the advertisements" thing come from? Tumblr isn't monetized / doesn't have any advertisements o_O

well this persons a blogger but hates the blogging websites or w/e so idunno what else to suggest

When I meant "the strongest of the advertisements", I mean forum posts that are strong enough to actually convince me to join Tumblr.

Gotta agree with you there. Although it's more convenient TBT has a blog tree, people hardly use it. It's best if you have a main platform/ website to interact through in addition to this one, just so you get it read more.

Tumblr is a great website for blogging and there's a large AC fanbase on it, so if you're looking to blog about AC I'm sure your posts would get attention. I don't know why you'd miss out on a nice opportunity just because it's "overrated" lmao but to each their own??

I'm sure that everybody else is having fun, but not me. I also like to say that tumblr's layout is confusing on the mobile site when not logged in an account. I don't even get to see comments on blogs.

I don't think you know exactly how it works xD
If you don't, then comments {if any} are under a picture that has been reblogged, they stack: just like the normal site. Like this:

It is rather confusing, what with reblogging and liking and stuff like that, but you get used to it.

If you haven't seen anything, then I'm afraid to say you've something wrong with your phone.
