I don't recall ever seeing a board game thread here, but even if there was one, it probably is super old. I will make one myself.
Does anyone here play board/card games? What are your favorites?

Video games have been my primary hobby for most of my life, but I'm feeling burn out on them lately. Maybe I've been looking at screens too much. Anyway, for those who don't know, board games are in a renaissance right now. There are TONS of great board games that have come out in the last decade or so. The really cool thing is board games I think are a lot better than they used to be, overall, before this renaissance started.
My favorite board game lately and has been consuming most of my time is Gloomhaven. It's an expensive game with a giant box, but if you like it you will guaranteed be playing it for a long time - well over 100 hours. There's tons to unlock and do with this. I also like how it's like a video game RPG except, well, without being a video game.
I've also recently gotten:
- Betrayal at House on the Hill, which is a horror-themed RPG-ish (though way less complicated and involved than Gloomhaven)
- Pandemic, which is a co-op strategy game where you try to save the world from getting infected by diseases
- Azul, which is a casual tile placing versus game where you try to earn more points than the other players by placing tiles and preventing the other players from taking tiles they want
