BoB is a Fish - Book One - The Beginnings

BoB. What is he? Why does he just go forward, never stopping? He never went to school. He has 2 B's in his name capitalized. Where did he come from? What's he looking for?
BoB is walking towards the mountains. Just green and dirt brown mountains. Nothing extra-ordinary about them. It's Wednesday. 11AM. A calm mountain breeze drifting past. He gets closer to the mountain over time. There was a sudden movement, in the closest mountain. A small shadow, which from this view could be a full-grown man. The shadow stood there tauntingly for 5 seconds, making odd movements. The shadow then vanished. A very odd thing then happened. He could smell gingerbread in the distance. Why was that? Such an odd thing. It was now 1PM. Or so it said on BoB's watch, which was always 10 minutes ahead. So BoB has ten minutes. He was far enough away so no-one would ever see him. He sat down and waiting. Still smelling gingerbread. 3 minutes left. The ginger was stronger now. 1 minute, now he heard thumping. 30 seconds. Good-bye, human body. Ten seconds. More thumping? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Suddenly, an eye-blinding flash. BoB was being transformed. After 10 seconds.. Well.. BoB is a Fish. He can now breathe air, and easily do large jumps, moving faster than a walking human. Wait.. what is that? Oh no! A gingerbread man!?!?
