I was thinking about playing Wild World again, which I didn't end up doing. But I remember Boondox and I thought it would be so interesting if it was worked into the next AC title! It would be a fun shoutout to die hard fans, and could bring in some much-needed plot. (I know AC isn't meant to be plot heavy, but it could use a little.)
My idea is that the Boondopolis we payed for in WW could finally be available for us to visit. Maybe as an alternative to Main Street? I know I'm going a little far, but it would also be interesting if it was available as a multiplayer thing. When you go there, (regardless of how, I haven't thought of transportation) it could be on a private server for friends only, and you could shop with your friends. Plus it would look so nice in Wii U HD.
Sooo... good idea or nah? Theories, suggestions?

It sounds interesting, but if I recall from Wild World, isn't Boondox a really poor, trashy village with nothing to eat? That's why you had to make donations. In the next AC though it'd be cool if you got to unlock it once you've made a certain amount of donations and replenish it! It could be like a mini town, and your cycled out villagers could LIVE there, and you could talk to them like you would villagers in your actual town. I love that idea because it annoys me how I can't have a legitimate conversation with my former villagers. D:

Maybe, just maybe the void they really go into before they start appearing on Main Street is Boondox- that's why they keep returning! They can't stand living in the Boons! They're not really shopping, they're getting away from that horrible area. Not sure about you, but I ended up loving donating after I got the rainbow feather, and got some rare clothes from Gracie because of it.

You're correct, but once you donate a certain amount, (I think it's something like 10 mil) you're told that Boonfox has now become "Boondopolis" and it's a really fancy city, which would be perfect for a shopping area.
But yeah, cycled out villagers living there sounds good! Better than the void, heh.

Premium dirt for sale! 30% discount for regular customers! Came from the very soil of our beloved city, Boondopolis!

Seriously though it'll be great if it comes back in the next game and they give us more details about this mysterious town.

I was thinking something along the lines of your town being relatively close to Boondox/opolis, and if you are mayor in your town, you can take on a City Folk / non-mayor role in Boondox to make it a better place. It starts as a near barren wasteland with a bunch of rude animals, and slowly but surely transforms into a sprawling, hustle-n-bustle kind of place, perhaps rivaling even your own town.
