Hey, everybody. Just a little update on that I bought Pokemon Sword on launch day. 
And my thoughts in a nutshell are that it is a truly awesome game.
I was really shocked that the EB Games store that I go to had them in stock. They had a launch party at 10 PM the day before the games came out, so I was expecting them to have no copies in stock, but they did.
If anybody else here has also bought Sword/Shield, I would be glad to add you as a friend so that we could do some trades and battles! Be warned however, my team is still in the 26's, so if you would like to battle my team is pretty weak as I'm writing this.
