Breathe in, breathe out

Meditation, anyone try that here?
I don't do it in that way with breathing and siting around crossleged saying "ohmmmm"
but I do go to a relaxing place and relax take in nature, consult my inner being.
It can really help to keep the stress down.
 
Yes, I infact have done some meditation. Not the yoga stuff or anything, but breathing sessions and things like that. I do some deep breathing stuff every single day. :yes:
 
The closest I think I ever get is those fleeting introspective moments when I'm high...

But nah, I don't really consider myself to be a very spiritual person. I can't chill myself out completely by myself. I need some sort of stimulus from elsewhere.

:eek: well that depens on the stimulus....drugs = unhealthy
but listening to calming music, or say looking up at the sky can work. My favorite would have to be relaxing in the sun listening to wind in the trees or waves. that is very nice.
 
Yea I do that when I go camping. I sit by the fire and listen to the woods and wind. It is very peaceful.
 
Yep that's is a large reason why I am working at a summer camp.

I love the outdoors, that is why I don't like living where I do, there is really no woods or anything within waling distance....
 
Nope, I can't sit still most of the time.... so thats why i was an active member when I first joined TBT.
