So excited for New Horizons! I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me in getting Marshal, once we figure out the mechanics of the new trading system. He's my absolute favorite and the only must-have. I regret not buying an amiibo card for him last year when they were cheaper on ebay, now they cost as much as the game lol... Would anyone be willing to help me out.

Have you tried looking at those custom NFC cards that people make? They usually come in the form of a keychain but you can use them as an amiibo. Something like this. They're much cheaper than the actual cards but work just the same.

Good suggestion. I bought a pack of amiibo chips off etsy of all the fire emblem amiibos. 10/10 would recommend.

If you're still willing on spending a little money on him, there's a cute Etsy shop that sells amiibo NFC keychains for really cheap! There's another shop that does them as stickers and paper cards too, although I find the keychains to be a lot nicer!
