bug-off question

i worked my butt off to get the 300 points for the gold trophy; but i didnt receive ANY trophies at all, not from flick in person and not in the mail the next day either. i had even counted how many points i had gotten!
does the game only give you trophies for the bug-off once or something?

Did you spend any of them on Bug Off prizes? I'm pretty sure it's based off of how many points you have on hand after the event is over, so if you earn 300 but then spend some on prizes, you no longer have 300

Did Flick mention you reached each goal when he gave you points? At 100 points, 200 points and 300 points he mentions the trophy and sending it in the mail. To keep track I took a picture of each of those.
Some of my players were able to complete all 3 in one session. All 3 trophies arrived in the mail the next day.
Some of my other players just completed 2 and got the trophies the next day. The following bug off they completed the last one.

Spending points on items doesn't effect your trophy points. Players that completed it in one day spent their points and stopped as soon as they reached 300 points. 3 trophies arrived the next day.

he didnt mention that i had gone over the 100, 200 or 300 mark! how weird! i know i went over them because i was counting them myself. i wonder why he didnt mention any of them? a glitch maybe?
