Bush Help

So I'm trying to plant a row of bushes and I did and it looked really nice but then a awful villager moved in and ruined it. So, my problem is she moved and I was replanting the bushes but I can't fill in one spot to make my row of bushes again. Does this mean it's a dead spot now and I can't fix it? ; A ;

It's either a dead spot, or it might be just because you have 13 bushes next to each other in a 'chain'. Any bush connected to a chain of 13 will die.

Definitely sounds like a dead spot :s That's unfortunate, I'm sorry to hear that

If you dig up the bushes either side of it, and then replant it then it should eventually stop being a deadspot again. There's also a way ~if you don't mind deleting spare characters while doing the reset trick~ to change deadspots in town, but it's sketchy and only gives you 3 chances a day, so you're probably better off just replanting everyday / the whole line of bushes and trying again daily.

If there are more bushes nearby, not in the chain of up to 12 it seems to make them less likely to grow as well. ~having this issue in my town in a spot that used to have a bush.
