Buying from another town's real estate office

I learned yesterday that you can travel to another town, visit Nook and be able to order door, exterior etc. at your real estate office.

Example:: I have been wanting the Sweets Door.

I visited my second town as a guest and went to talk with Nook.

Nook stated when I returned to my town and then went to the real estate office the Sweets door would be available.

Went back to my original town and the Sweets door was avaiable.

Yup, but only one part at a time. If you want multiple you simply just go back to your town, purchase the first one, then come back to transfer over the second part and repeat for whatever else.
