Hello all, I am here for the same reasons as many of the other folks posting on the introductory board; the excitement surrounding Animal Crossing: New Leaf has finally gotten the best of me
I played the GameCube version shortly after its release, and as that same old tune goes, was utterly captivated. It was a lush, bold, brilliant game that oozed creativity. Wild World was the installment that was a true life-snatcher for me, though. Perhaps it was the portability, or the new features that managed to add so much whilst removing none of what made the first Animal Crossing special. It was only because of complications that I never got around to solving with my Wii that I missed out on City Folk. If only I had known what an integral part of gaming those games would become to me.
Being nineteen now, me and many of my friends have since acquired jobs and new responsibilities; as is the way of the world. Gone are the days where most of them owned a handheld console. I, on the other hand, still love my evening gaming sessions and always manage to find the extra time and energy for a good title. It would be great to meet some like minded people here who want to trade fruit, explore each others towns, and enjoy the unique twist other players add to our New Leaf experiences. -Evan
