Camper asking villager in boxes to move out

Deirdre asked to move out yesterday, and today she's in boxes. Today I also got a camper I'd like to invite, but every attempt (five so far) ends with Deirdre as the move out suggestion, and I'm 100% sure I didn't end the dialogue.

So is the game so set on Deirdre to prevent two villagers in boxes at the same time? Is it safe to pick her or will I risk messing something up since she's already in boxes?

Something may have changed since the last update, but I'd skip this camper, just to be safe. I've heard of people inviting campers to move in on the day another villager was moving out, then gotten stuck with a villager staying in boxes.

Yeah, it's probably safer to skip the camper. At least it's not a dreamie, I just want him to unlock the poster, but he's from the RV series and there's no way I'm going to get my hands on those cards.
