Campsite/amiibo help

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me please, I've got the campsite, had someone stay, now able to invite someone using amiibo, which I've done, I've made the item they wanted, asked them to stay and they said no! Since then I've not been given the option to ask again! Help! I really want this villager on my island.

You have to invite them to your campsite (via amiibo) three times before they will accept living there.

You must prove that you are worthy of their trust before they agree to live on your island. Invite them three times and make whatever they want for three times. Then they will be open to the idea of living there.
