I just wanna make sure of this before I try it. If I move a camper in the villager they replace is automatically in boxes ready to move. So I should be able to have someone come to my town to adopt that villager right?

Yeah, when a you allow a camper to kick out a villager, they go into boxes that same day.

Also if you win the Card game and they pick a Villager that you don't want to move out, restart the game, win the card game again and then they will pick someone else. Just thought I mention that to you.
You don't have to win the card game. From my testing, if you lose it a couple times, they agree to move in anyways.

Yeah I know there is a chance that they will agree to move in despite how many times you lost but in my case its very rare.
