Campsite Visitors not giving gifts

Up until two days ago, campsite visitors would give gifts of 20+ of their material. Now, I only get requests. Yesterday, there was not a lost item. All of my campsite visitors are at least level 10. After the update several days ago, I noticed that the campsite visitors rotated with flower harvest. There would normally be 4 campsite visitors that that had at least one request and 2 that gave a gift. Talking to them every hour has not worked since the update.

Any clue as how to start getting gifts (20+ materials) from campsite visitors?

Talking to them every hour hasn’t worked in a looonnggg time. The villagers who want to talk to you rotate every 3 hours
