Can I make someone move out without time travel or forcing them out?

Keaton showed up at my campsite recently, and I did not intend to invite him to move in because I can't stand him, but the game didn't give me a choice and he's moved in. I've read people forcing their villagers to move out via the campsite, but as we all know now, that has been causing problems for people. I'm also not interested in time travelling because that takes away from the fun (in my personal opinion I mean, no judgement to those who do it). Is there anything else I can do to get him out? Sidenote, if anyone wants him, please let me know and I'll hit you up when I can finally safely get him out.

You can with amiibo cards, just keep inviting a villager back to the camp until they agree to move in, once they agree you can freely choose who to throw under the guillotine to make space.
Also the glitch was from inviting villagers from other people, who they got from the campsite, but it got patched the other day, so it should not be a problem anymore.

Good to know, thanks! The max number of villagers is 10, right? So I just have to fill up my island with 10 villagers and then use an amiibo card to invite someone else?

Yep, 10 villagers max, and amiibo campers can take the spot of any of your villagers at that point, but it takes a few days of inviting them until they agree to move in, so just keep inviting the same villager until they agree.
