Can I still get glitches if villagers move out naturally?

So today Wolfgang wanted to move out but I denied mainly because I'm really terrified of the glitch (my initial plan was to trade him for Zucker).
However, in the event that a villager does move out naturally and gets adopted by another player, and I then go on to adopt another villager (who also moves out naturally) or do some more island hopping to acquire another one - can I still get a glitch?
This terrifies me to be honest.
There are some villagers I want to move out and trade with others but I'm scared of getting gliched plots. :(

Can't speak for everyone, but for my personal experience, traded for a villager who moved out normally and everything worked out. Probably what you should worry about is if the people you're trading with have forced a villager out since from what I've read, the void exists in this game.

As long as you’re trading with someone who has never forced a villager out of their town, you should be fine. Towns that have forced villagers out, even if it’s not the villager you’re trading for, seem to be having issues right now that could potentially cause glitches. (Speaking from experience— I now have a bugged plot in my town and it’s making it hard to even want to play the game.)
