I really want to create my own signature for my friend and stuff... I know what pictures I'm going to use...
Is there a type of program which I can use to create it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Photoshop, I know it's old but paint shop pro and ummmm you can use if you have no experience in designing just plain old paint.

I use Photoshop for most of my image editing, but some of my friends also use GIMP, it's free but I don't know if it's more user-friendly

Photoshop and GIMP. I personally use Photoshop for banners and while I've never used GIMP firsthand, I've heard it's a decent free art program.

If it's REALLY basic, you can use MS Paint, but if ya wanna fancy it up, you'd have to use other programs that're more advanced. Layering images can be a pain since everything's on a single layer and if there's any color space (including white), it could mess up the rest of your image, if you're not careful.

There's also Paint Tool SAI, which is great for drawing artwork (personally think it has better pen sensitivity than Photoshop for this purpose), but I wouldn't recommend it for actual banner making since it lacks a LOT of the things Photoshop has.
