Can someone hold a villager while I reset?

I have been trying to TT Bob off my island so I can trade him, but have had no such luck. I am almost a week ahead and I just feel I ruined my island by doing so. So, what I am going to do is try and TT Marina out, but here is the thing. I would really appriciate it if someone could hold her for me while I reset my town and set it back to the 20th of March. Marina is the only villager here I know for a fact that I want on my island among the ones I have. I am willing to pay all 38,000 Bells I have just for someone to hold her.

However, I am really worried, as I know she is VERY popular, that I am worried someone will just keep her or sell her. Is there anyone I can trust to hold onto Marina until I can pick her up again? Maybe a cycling town that will get me her back later today or sometime tomorrow?

I don't know if you can hold someone, but I couldn't if I try. I only have 6 villagers in my town so she would automatically become a resident just by default.

What I mean is, I will put her in boxes, and then let someone pick her up, and when they have her in boxes I will come over and pick her up with my new island. THAT is what I mean by holding her. The issue is being able to trust that someone. I am worried someone will just keep or sell her.

They mean Marina would move in to someone else’s town and they’d tt her out to give her back. I can’t help unfortunately, are you resetting your whole island?

I just remembered this site and came across your post. I can't remember my old account info. so I made new one. We (my daughters and I) would be willing to hold Marina for you, but we don't time travel, so you would have to wait until she asked to move out. She isn't one of our dreamies, so we wouldn't want to keep her and we wouldn't sell her (bad mojo). The only thing we would ask is that if you happened to get one of OUR dreamies that you didn't want to keep, that you let them move to our island when they ask to move out. We wouldn't ask you to time travel to do that either. No pressure at all. Our dreamies we don't have include Wolfgang, Bam, Stitches, Henry, Fang and Freya right now. To be clear, whenever Marina asked to move out, you would come get her. If you don't get any of our dreamies, then no worries. We'd want someone to do the same for us. No pressure!
