can weeds prevent flowers from spreading?

Yep, flowers dont grow over top of weeds, you have to remove the weeds if you want them to spread them

Luckily weeds aren't a pain to pull though

Yes weeds prevent flowers from growing. If you are looking to other methods I would also recommend custom designs. You can find cute ones, like leaves or little flowers that you can place on the ground or if you like the grass as it is you can simply put down a transparent custom design

the hidden flower field contains 79 white windflowers,, aiming for 86, for my oc, penny's future island that i'm storing for her...

is that overdoing it a bit?...

but if that's how many she wants, that's how many i'll give her.... :>

That’s a great way to prevent flowers blooming everywhere after a rainy day! I have custom designs next to pretty much any flower I have planted on my island and usually the situation is okay even after a lot of rain

when i have 3 extra white windflowers that i need, sprouted, i'll put more down to stop them from spreading :>

Well yes if you have grass or dirt patterns on your island the weeds can spawn there and whats really dumb is that sometimes fossils can spawn too not to mentioned Rocks. I can't tell you how many times it was such a pain to make the Rocks spawn in the area I want it too and then when it spawn in my flower garden I was so annoyed.

Ugh, I can relate to that! I only use the dark dirt path and it has been 3 months and still I have 2 rocks that keep spawning on the path!
