can you control who pings you?

i've been trying to get a couple of pvp request from mira, but she hasn't pinged me once in like two weeks x.x i've been doing the method of diving in the ocean for 5 minutes and walking around, but every time i walk around mira, nothing. i've gotten random pings from all of my villagers except her and it's getting frustrating x.x

Sadly, you can't. You can make it easier to get to all the villagers by locking them all up in little sections of holes.

There isn't a way to control it, to my knowledge. Just hang in there! She'll ping eventually. Deirdre hadn't pinged me in months and today she did twice.

i don't think that seclusion corner works, tbh. ): tried it a lot with mira & diana before & they wouldn't ough up any pwps. D: don't know how other people got it to work since they were saying that's how they got their pwps. \:

I always thought sending mail and harvesting a certain amount of fruit helped with the pinging.

For 10 days, I did not pick any fruit nor did I mail any letters to the villagers. During those 10 days that were not any pings for PWPs.

I started harvesting and sending mail and immediately was pinged 3 days in a row.

I think maybe the developers used the PWP pinging as a reward for sending mail and harvesting fruit.

I do know if this is how it is in other towns -- only in my 2 towns.

When I mail letters to the villagers -- I also attached their favorite style of shirt. For example Fauna likes basic clothing-- so I will send her a basic shirt.

Didn't work with Kid Cat... he NEVER pinged!!! >.< I found out from Willow (villager, not TBT user. ) that he wanted to move and I tried several times to get him to ping me that he was moving, but nope. Then, I pretty said, "Screw it, I'm just gonna TT you until you're in boxes."

the problem with pinging after you hear a villager wants to move is a problem. \: encountered it a few times, but the worst was four times of saving/resetting until i forced it out of him TO TELL HIM NO NEVER DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. U:

both definitely underrated imo.
sure they're not cookie cutter but they're awesome!
(not that i have something against cookie cutter villagers, i have marshal and whitney)
