Oh WOW! They're aweeessssooommmeee! I'd say 100 for a plain sketch, 125-150 for a flatly colored, and 200 for a really detailed/shaded one! ^-^

I agree with this, I think this is a really good pricing range for your work. You can also do different prices for bust/full as well!

(If you're willing to do some mayor art hit me up, I'll definitely be a customer of yours!)

I'm gonna start going on chickensmoothie to get some freebies lollllllllllll

But yeah I agree with the prices

But for me I must decree half off everything ;)

Um tbh I would pay 5 dollars for a sketch and 10 for it coloured

BUT you can always just do a christmas freebie because im sweet

lolololololol

For actual money I'd say $5-10 USD for a line sketch, $8-13 for a flat coloring, and up to $20 for full color as a full body. For bust, $2/3-6 for line sketch, up to $11 for flat coloring, and up to $15/16 for full color.

You can add and subtract money for things like detailed clothing, simple clothing, tattoos, adding pets, etc.

Ohhh. Yeah well let's see.
5.00 for a sketch
8.00 for a flat colored
10.00 for a really detailed/fully colored and shaded.

I agree with these prices! Don't sell yourself short with your art, there's less reward if you do that :)

These prices are definitely accurate. Just a warning though that very few people on this forum can actually afford RLC so you might not get much business. Don't let that stop you though. :)

thanks for the feedback guys :)
i wasnt planning on selling in this forum, just trying to get as many opinions as i can ^^

May I ask how long it takes you to make each stage?

usually a couple of hours (for detailed lineart and fullcolour/shading each, so like 4+ altogether)
i dont workfast.. xD

The answers on this thread are all valuable answers and it's perfectly okay if you would like to follow them but I thought it would be a lot more helpful to be able to price your own work without relying on others input. (which can lead you into pricing things wrong)

A lot of people assume that you price your work according to the quality, and this is where I'm skeptical about getting others to price it for you. Yes it is partly about quality and it can affect the price but fore mostly it is work and you have to treat it like work. I asked you how long it takes for you to make each stage because this shows how much time and work you put into these pictures. Usually you would calculate how much a commission is through adding up the your country's minimum wage per hour. Since you take around four hours you'll have to multiply it by four. Then you have materials though this usually only applies to traditional art, maybe if your using an art program that requires monthly/weekly payments you may want to add a little to help pay for that as essentially they are paying you to use these applications. Lastly quality is important to because some artists spend a lot of time refining their work and really making it worth something. That's why more popular artists will tend to charge more since they are probably in high demand and style is a big seller.

Anyway, that's basically how I work out my own commission prices. It's perfectly okay to adjust these depending on the audience. Also if this is more of a hobby and your using this as a form of learning I don't see a problem in charging lower so that you get more customers and therefore more practice. Though you must be aware that it is difficult to take on a lot at once and you may have to make yourself more organised, like setting up a queue and making a timetable so that you don't rely on your own motivation to get pictures done.

Anyway that's my input, I wish you luck in selling art! You have beautiful pieces.
