Hi~!

I really enjoy drawing but I know there are a lot of mistakes in my work. >.<
I thought I was pretty good at drawing until I saw some of the others members art and I thought that maybe you could help me improve?

Thank you~!

What do you mean? Your art is AMAZING, actually better than me or any other average person.

I've been drawing for a while but all I can say is that, watch a lot of tutorials online, watch speed paints and always try new techniques to find the one that's most useful to you! Draw doodle and sketches all the time to always practice. Focus on your weaker points of art, whether it be anatomy, hair, whatever it is, always work on your weaknesses.

Hope this sort of helps!!

Oh, and from what i know i think you could maybe make your lines vary in thickness, try to have clean sketches so when you do the lineart, it's clear and smooth. (make some parts of the lineart thick or thin to give it more texture) be careful with blending (depends on the markers or pencils you're using I suppose) and shadows and reflections should always be placed in the correct place based on your source of lighting for the image! (which you're pretty good at already.)

Your traditional art is quite good! Your anime style looks a bit like you still haven't developped your own style, so I'd suggest on working on that rather than always referencing the original art!

The Pokemon 3DS art!!! Did you do everything that is in those?? All the backgrounds and the actual pokemon? Those are very impressive, especially the backgrounds!

Whoa, I'm a huge fan of your Pokemon drawings! The backgrounds seem to be very well thought out and the execution of those pieces is amazing. As for your other traditional drawings, I really like your coloring (when you do color your drawings, haha)!
Would love to see how you improve with everything in the future :-]

I have noticed that some lines/shapes look a bit awkward (like her fingers in [this drawing]), but unfortunately I can't offer any you any advice for that since I don't draw that much myself :-/
I believe other people who are more experienced in giving critique for traditional art can help you in that area though ;-]

I think your drawings are awesome! The color and shading is nice (coming from someone who can't shade to save their life). However, for your anime/manga drawings, why not try to find your own style instead of using existing scenes?

Ah nope, I didn't do the backgrounds...cri.... But I did do the pokemon myself. I'll try to work on my own style but I'm not good at inventing my own work unfortunately. Thanks a lot!

Haha I'm sure your fine
And as said previously, I can't draw without reference (to save my life cx) but I'll try to practise more often! Thaaaaanks agaaaaain!!

Very nice traditional art! I'm not the greatest at giving advice to be honest, but I'll do my best!

For one, I believe you should work on the lineart a bit more - some lines seem a bit choppy or too straight? Try giving them a more flow-y (but not too flow-y?) kind of feel! Vary your lines but be confident in your strokes! Try to avoid having extremely perfect lines and sketch it out in confidence. You can go back and outline in pen if you are satisfied with the results!

The shading is nice for a lot of pieces ! I actually have some trouble with shading myself so I'd need some tips on that too xD
Just try to blend a bit more in your digital pieces and focus on where your light source is coming from!

References are very good to use when practicing and coming up with your own style can prove to be difficult (as it is for me) but experimenting could serve very well for you as well! Don't be afraid to mix it up a bit and keep practicing. I use lots of references when drawing, but I do not like to copy the art. I use them to help me visualize (for example) how the positioning of the hand should be and how most body parts are structured. If you are unsatisfied with it, you can always try again!

Don't forget to take breaks if it's too much for you (something I need to do as well), and practice lots!
I wish you the best of luck ^^

No problem, I am glad to be of any help! Ahh, that's great! ^^

I don't think your lineart sucks, just needs a bit more practice and the same could be said for me so just keep at it! :]

I tried working on my own style today but I haven't got the drawings with me
Cri

Anymore advice?? ^.^

Wow that's actually pretty nice
Reminds me of how I started out drawing!
I love the shigatsu piece!!!
Maybe for the line art use a thicker pen, that helped make my lines
A lot smoother so try that! Otherwise keep up the good work your find your style eventually
