my art is far from good and i suck at copying anything unless it's simple shapes...and even then uniform lines are hard. it's for my embroidery apron gift to my friend for her b-day so the lines need to be simple and not too much detail to save time. so can you tell what each of them is just by looking at it? i scribbled this pretty quick...so i'm sorry. =(

if i failed it's supposed to be yoshi, triforce, and cactuar. should make the letters p,a,t but the letters are less of a big deal then getting the images right.

Absolutely! I knew what they all were right away. It looks far better than anything I could draw. My only critique would be that you might want to center the triforce a bit more when you do the embroidery. But it seriously looks great.

phew~ ok thanks i was so scared people would be like "is...is that a pokemon? or...?" yeah yeah i plan on doing them all apart as it's easier and for placement then place them on the apron after (it's a black apron and i have no transfer paper so i have to use white fabric and make a sew on patch.) also thank you T_T

They are all recognizable, but Yoshi seems a little bit too slim.

I don't know why you needed to ask, they are perfectly recognizable!! :D

I feel like the Paper Mario design of Yoshi would work better on an apron, though:

I think they are all very recognisable! I’m curious what would be the next stage for doing these designs as embroidery?

Yes they look great! Very nice job! :)

Btw drawing Yoshi was my favorite thing to draw growing up. I had Yoshi drawings everywhere...

The one on the right almost looks like a gyroid! :)

first of all can i just say love your picture i adore baymax and big hero 6. as for the question i lay white fabric over them after i've inked them in thin black marker then i do my best to trace them on the fabric, then i embroider them, after i cut them out and make sure i clean/sew the edges smooth then sew them on the apron. i'm basically just making patches sadly as tracing paper is too much and no store by me sells it in cheap small packs as they only have ones that come with the tools and or 20 sheets for 30 bucks...i just don't have any money. plus this way if i mess up it's not as painful to redo.

That sounds like a lot of work but also incredible! I sure your friend will really appreciate all the effort you are putting in for their present > w< b

Your design looks great!

Just some quick advice- make sure when you're copying them as a pattern, they're nice and centered.

I'm sure the finished project will be adorable.

thank you =). yeah lolz i can't draw things straight lined up unless i'm on my computer (i really gotta work on that tbh... it bugs me alot but idk how to go about it with out having tons of lines all over.) but these are going to be individual patches anyway as i only have a 4 or 5 inch hoop. i forget but i know it's only about hand sized due to how cheap it was and it's yellow (one of my favorite colors).

i recognized yoshi and the triforce right away but since i?m not super familiar with other game franchises, i lowkey thought the cactuar was actually a gyroid :p

Of cause they are recognisable! :) and i can see you had made an effort to depict yoshi's hand and tail, i like it !:p
