No, that wouldn't be theft. You'd actively clicking it, giving it to them. It's being too curious for your own good.

The charge tag is something that we don't have a use for, it also ends up annoying most users. There isn't a practical use to it, so it does just end up as getting quick bells for nothing of value. And that's a large part of it, that anything inside is trivial and simply stupid things.
