Hey! I like to write, so I figured I'd make a writing shop to get some practice (even though I've been writing for 10 years now. More practice is always good!)
Prices are cheapish (?? I have no idea what counts as cheap), since these are very short pieces of writing (500 words or less). I accept both TBT and IGB. I'll accept RLC if there's sufficient demand, but I don't think my writing's that good
I mostly write fanfiction, but I can write something original/with your OCs if you ask, it's just that 500 words isn't a lot of room for character development, so I tend to use characters other people are already familiar with.
I also write a lot of shipping fic. For those unfamiliar with the lingo, a "ship" is a romantic pairing between characters; it's shorthand for "relationship". You can request a ship fic if you want, but I have the right to decline any request with a ship that makes me uncomfortable.
In the past, I've written for Animal Crossing, Homestuck, the Lego Movie, Steven Universe, Pok?mon, and Touhou. I don't have examples for all of these, though. You can also request fanfiction from a different fandom, just as long as I'm familiar with it.
Why are there less slots for TBT then IGB? Because I like being paid in IGB more

Rules & Pricing
1. One slot per person, please! If you want to request more than one thing, please wait until I've finished your first request before requesting a second.
2. Prompts can be as detailed or as vague as you like, though I might ask for clarification depending on the prompt. Examples of prompts: "Ankha and Lolly have a catfight." "Marshal goes on a date with Maple." "A sad story about the mayor recreating their town."
3. I have the right to decline any request that makes me uncomfortable.
4. Prompts must be PG-rated!
5. I will post these in batches on my public Archive of Our Own account, or I can keep a request private if you want me to, in which case I will send them to you via PM. I will also post these on this thread as I complete orders.
6. !!Don't repost these anywhere else!! If I post them on my AO3 account, you can share a link to the story, but otherwise, please don't spread them around. Not even with credit.
7. Please include the word "cool guy" somewhere in your post.
8. I won't hit the exact wordcount (except in very rare cases), but I will within 50 words. So if you ask for a 300 word story, the finished product will be between 250 and 350.

100 words = 5 TBT or 250k IGB
So just multiply that depending on how many 100 words you want... 200 words would be 10 TBT or 500k IGB, 300 words would be 15 IGB or 750k, and you get to request a maximum of 500 words, which is 25 TBT or 1.25mil.

Examples
Ankha wanted a challenge.
Not for her, oh no, for the mayor. She wanted a challenge for the mayor. The mayor always managed to fulfill Ankha's every request, from fishing up a shark to getting her a fruit that didn't grow in the town, and she was starting to wonder if her requests were too easy.
Yes, it was time to give the mayor a challenge.
She couldn't go right up to talk to the mayor directly, though. She just had to leave her house and wander around until, just as expected, the mayor came to talk to her.
"Hello, Mayor Riley," she said casually. "What brings you over here, me meow?"
The mayor shrugged. "Just checking up on everyone," Riley said. "What's the latest?"
"Well," Ankha began, "Lately I've been just fascinated by cicadas. Could you catch one for me, Riley?"
There weren't any cicadas around this time of year; this would definitely be a challenge. Ankha half excepted the mayor to decline her request, but Riley nodded and said, "Sure, okay!"
Sure enough, before the end of the day, the mayor brought her a cicada. Ankha couldn't disguise her surprise when Riley handed her the bug, and it didn't go unnoticed.
"Didn't think I'd do it, did you?"
Ankha laughed nervously. "What, you think I'd give you an impossible challenge, me meow?"
Riley grinned. "So it was a challenge."
Whoops! Ankha tried to hastily deliver a denial, but Riley waved her words away.
"Don't worry about it! All I had to do was go to another town, anyway. Next time, give me a tougher challenge!"
Ankha shook her head to get her thoughts in order. A tougher challenge, huh? Next time, she'd ask for the moon.
She didn't realize she had said that out loud until Riley laughed, and the following day, she received a moon model in the mail.

The first batch ends up horribly burnt. John's baking experience has been mostly limited to cakes, not cookies, and Rose's experience has been nonexistent, so it's not a surprise that they mess up, but it's still a little disappointing.
The second batch, they don't cook long enough, so John puts them back in the oven for a few minutes and they end up scorched, but edible.
The third batch, they burn again.
"Is this one of those activities where the experience is better than the end result?" Rose asks with a smile.
"They're cookies! The end result is supposed to be cookies!" John folds his arms and sits down against the stove with a "hmph".
She picks up one of the burnt ones and examines it. "We've made… something similar to that, yes."
John eyes her and the cookie warily. "You're not going to eat that, are you?"
Rose smiles and bites into it. It tastes awful.
They both end up sitting on the floor, eating cookies and laughing, while the fourth batch is left forgotten to burn in the oven.
