Hey, just wanted to vent a bit about the castle items (walls, gates, towers)
I have a slight bit of OCD when it comes to symmetry.... and I cannot for the life of me figure out the right amount of walls/gates, to achieve a perfect castle with no gaps!!
HELP ME!! IM LOOSING IT!!
If anyone has any tips or has managed to fit all the pieces flush together, please respond 😭

It’s really unfortunate because a lot of things in ACNH weren’t designed symmetrically.
When I was first designing my town, I realized that inclines won’t ever line up symmetrically centered with houses or the museum because of the difference in width. It’s crazy to me that they didn’t think of that? There’s ways you can work around it, like making two inclines on the side instead of one in the middle, but it is a lot to work around and usually messes up a design plan.
Have you tried looking on YouTube for town builds that have used those specific items? Also dream addresses might be good too, because you can actually walk around and count spaces and areas. If you can’t find any specific links to videos or Dream Adresses to visit, I can post some here.

I was having this problem too while trying to make my castle so I just ended up watching a YouTube tutorial haha.
And I am pretty sure its 4 by 4 all the walls and they fit nicely together. I am just leaving for work so I could probably post a picture of my castle later on if you wanted to see what I mean.

Yes! I cant stand that! I guess I will just use 2 stairways instead of the 1... was trying to make it with 1 as I only have 2 inclines left lol.
Thankyou very much for the response I feel a bit better now haha x
I couldnt really find the kind of castle build I was looking for on YouTube but I may start dream addresses again for inspiration :) x

A picture example would be appreciated :) x

I will look for some videos for you and post them here! I also just visited a dream town that used a ton of those items… I’ll try and find the dream address.

I currently do not have access to my switch at the moment but I found the youtube tutorial I followed
At around the timestamp 2:33 you get to see what the user created and how many pieces she used it is all connected together

I hope this helps :)
