Hi there,
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I?m wondering if anyone knows whether or not Celeste and/or the Observatory will be back in NH? Have there been any images of Celeste released?

I really hope she?s back...
Making constellations with Celeste was my favorite part of Wild World and I was so sad that they took it out of New Leaf. Her role was so small in NL and she deserves better ;-;

I know we?ve seen the night sky once or twice in released images, do any of them show hints of constellations??

Worry not! There have been images of Celeste released so she will be back and cuter than ever!!! I hope we han an option to hug her as well as call her cute again ꉂ (˃̶᷄‧̫ॢ ˂̶᷅๑ ) www

I really enjoyed trolling my village with horrible constellations but I did make cute ones too... Eventually lol

I would be extremely interested to learn about existing constellations in the sky! I used to take astronomy lessons but have forgotten quite a lot! This would encourage people to go out and appreciate our galaxy much more!
So it would be nice to make them too but learn at the same time! (○︎-艸・)*:゚・☆︎

I just saw a video of the missing features that were in City Folk that have been dropped in New Leaf : Gulliver's UFO, Phineas handing balloons, Celeste's constellations, etc. And as I was watching the video unfold, it came pretty clear to me that those features were taken out because they served no purpose. Yes, they were cute to experiment with, but had no appeal on the long run. Drawing constellations was pretty limited, and did not really add anything to our town, or how I enjoyed the game. I drew a few at first, and did not bother to ever go back, because I just did not care, and nobody visiting my town ever did.

So I hope they find something for Celeste to do, but I hope they do not bring back the useless constellations.

I liked making the constellations, though they did make the sky look a little untidy.

Maybe we could make them and have them on display in a star room in the observatory instead of the actual sky.

I wouldn't want them to stay gone completely.

I'm not sure what role Celeste will have in the new game, but if the constellations do come back, I hope we can do more with them. They haven't said if it will be back or not and so far the pictures we have seen of the night sky hasn't shown any signs of them.

I hate to say it, but I'm with Boccages. (not saying bc personally, it's bc of the opinion) I know everyone seems to want the constellations back, but I personally am more on the side of not wanting them. Yeah, the custom museum exhibits weren't a big hit, but i'd love to see something else creative that the devs think of for Celeste moreso than bringing back constellations.

i would love for celeste to get outside of the museum and have either her own observatory or simply be stargazing outside. talking to her you could be given knowledge about the universe and you could have a mini game helping her stargaze or something. Personally i would love for the option to make constellations again as i really loved doing it in my cityfolk and wild world towns.

Shooting down Gulliver was one of my absolute favorite things to do. Granted, I was rarely prepared when I heard the sound, but still, it felt like such a grand accomplishment when I was finally able to get him.

What about shooting down Pete? hahaha That squark was everything ꉂ (˃̶᷄‧̫ॢ ˂̶᷅๑ ) www

Maybe instead of making your own constellations, Celeste is a bit like Blathers and tells you about them.

Certain constellations would only be available for certain parts of the year. You could use a telescope to find them and once you find them, Celeste tells you about them and an image of them is unlocked in the celestial wing of the museum - where Celeste spends her days.

At night she wanders and sets up her telescope around the island.

Exactly what i was thinking! that would be so cool, and you could possibly seeing the milky way! ahh, i love starry nights sooo much

Making constellations was so fun and unique! I don't think it was particularly useless as lots of people hold special memories of them. I loved seeing my friends constellations in my town and vice versa. It was a nice little touch. (,:

This would be an even better use of her character than stuffing her in an observatory room. I'd love to learn more about constellations and planets through Celeste and star gaze with her every night. I'd still like the option to be able to create my own constellations too (granted the feature serves no real importance, but then you can say that about nearly anything else in the game like sailing, drinking coffee or having a police station), but the former sounds like a way sweeter deal, if I can only pick one of the two options.

I never liked the constellations. Lol my designs always made the night sky look worse so I didn?t use it. I think she should do something other than just run a gift shop. Hmmm I?m not sure what else she should do, but I don?t want constellations back. However, if they bring it back I won?t be mad it will just be a feature I won?t use.
